EVENTS INFORMATION

The Cupola, located on the second floor of the Honolulu Design Center is available to rent for banquets, seminars and private functions. The Cupola is under, as its namesake suggests, a retractable half-circle dome skylight that allows sun beams to fill the Theatre during the day and be lit by moonlight at night.

The 2,700 square foot venue can accommodate up to 170 guests (auditorium or cocktail reception style) and 104 guests seated banquet style. The Cupola is also able to provide in-house equipment with an inventory that includes round and rectangular tables, staging and chairs.

Additionally, the Cupola has been outfitted with a diverse system of technology capabilities, including microphone sound reinforcement, DVD movie playback, cable TV playback, computer presentations and live musical performances. The inclusion of iPod docking station and theatrical lighting are sure to make a dramatic impact at events held at this venue.

The Cupola is the host for a wide variety of events throughout the year. Watch for movies, wine tasting classes, musical performance evenings and design workshops posted on our events calendar.

Also available for rent is the Ice Bar located on the second floor of Honolulu Design Center, adjacent to Amuse Wine Bar. The Ice Bar is suitable for smaller parties of up to 50 guests. Furnished with hi-tops and barstools that look like blocks of ice the Ice Bar features a computerized lighting system that changes the color of the bar throughout the evening.

If you are looking for an outside venue, Sunset Terrace located on the third floor of Honolulu Design Center is available for parties of up to 170 guests (weather permitting). Imagine a reception at tree top level serving tray passed beverages and action stations featuring a chef from our own Stage Restaurant.
